Pricing Details and Terms

All prices are in USD and include all applicable taxes, as well as all hunt costs, airport pick-up/drop-off, accommodations, meals, license fees, and guide costs.
Gratuities and butchering fees not included.
The rates are based on 2:1 hunter/guide ratio; however 1:1 hunter/guide ratios are available at an additional cost.
Note: Final payment must be traveler checks, cashiers check/certified check, or cash and paid in full upon arrival.
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required upon booking; remainder due upon arrival.

Important Hunt Information

Species: Moose (Eastern Canadian) Zone 16 and Black Bear Zone 16.
Our hunts our primarily spot and stock with calling used extensively during the rut.
Sandy Lake Lodge has a driving service that will provide transportation to and from either Gander International and/or Deer Lake Newfoundland airports.
We also have a butcher with 30+ years of experience and a shipping service that transports meat throughout the United States and parts of Canada. Butchering of the meat is an additional cost to the client's, as is transporting meat to the butcher at a cost of USD $200.00. (Ricks Meat Shop - 709-672-3584)
Meat and trophies can be shipped to the USA through Central NL Shipping (Michelle Thoms - 709-651-4427). Central NL Shipping makes one meat shipment to the USA per year in December. Arrangements can also be made for shipping within Canada. We update shipping cost on a seasonal basis.
We provide boats and motors, 8 x 8 Argos and any other equipment to assist you during your hunt.
When a moose tag is filled the stumble on bear tag will be considered expired. Guests hunting baited bear in combination with moose will continue hunting bear over bait when moose are harvested (no trophy fee applies).
Our Spike camps are accessed by Argo and ATV. These camps will be used based on the discretion of the client. The terrain at the lodge and spike camps is pretty much the same, a combination of bog. tundra, and forest areas. With the Argos long walks are not required at either spike camp or lodge.
